As reported on several news outlets (e.g. gizmodo.com/nasa-takes-fight-against-dro...ths-orbit-1683072469), NASA's SNAP (Soil Moisture Active Passive) satellite was launched yesterday.

Any thoughts re. how big a revolution this could be in terms of flood modelling?
