HR Wallingford, a partner of the DRIHM project, launchs  FluidEarth 2.

Taking place on Thursday 18 April 2013 at HR Wallingford, this event marks the start of the second phase of FluidEarth as an implementation of the new version 2.0 of the OpenMI standard. The objectives of the event include:

• Setting the context and reviewing progress so far;
• Presenting the FluidEarth2 toolkit and training;
• Project dissemination;
• Discussing the next steps and planned initiatives;
• Networking and sharing experiences.

The event is targeted at those with an interest in integrated environmental modelling and standards, with a particular focus on OpenMI as a model coupling standard. The day will also include breakout sessions and speakers focusing on different projects and groups.The event is free to attend, only registration is required.
